ROME POLICE DEPARTMENT HOSTS SWEARING IN AND PROMOTIONAL PINNING

Rome police Department held a Swearing In and Promotional Pinning on Tuesday in the Municipal Courtroom. Chief Denise Downer-McKinney swore in three new officers to the department, Officer Derek Nunn, Officer Noah Boyd and Officer Christopher Hamilton. She also issued the Oath of Honor to newly promoted officers Major Mark Tison, Major Chris DeHart, Captain Danny Story, Lieutenant Brandon Brown, Sergeant Scott Kasmar and Sergeant Joe Cardona. Chief Downer-McKinney also presented Investigator Randy Gore with his retirement badge and service weapon following 28 years of service with Rome Police Department.
