Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation, along with Coke and Shaw Industries, invites local backyard BBQ buffs to put their best chicken and pork recipes to the test at the annual Backyard BBQ Bash set for Saturday, April 29 at Ridge Ferry Park.
Lindsey Jones, Special Services Manager, says that teams have until Friday to register. Registration is $75. Cash prizes are at stake!

In addition to BBQ tastings, the Bash will feature a car show, arts and crafts vendors, live music, and more, enthuses Jones, who adds that event parking is just $5.
Tasting bracelets are $5 each; bracelet wearers will help determine this year’s People’s Choice awards.
