ATLANTA BRAVES HOST HOUSTON ASTROS THIS WEEKEND, LISTEN ON WLAQ

The Atlanta Braves were off Thursday and will be back on their home field at Truist Park tonight to open up a seven game homestand with the first of three outings against the defending World Series champion Houston Astros. Bryce Elder will be the starting pitcher for Atlanta, while Hunter Brown will head to mound for Houston. First pitch is slated for 7:20 pm. The Braves currently lead the National League East with a record of 14-5 on the ’23 season. The Astros are in second place of the American League West at 9-10.

The series between the Braves and the Astros will continue through Sunday, and then the Braves will welcome the Miami Marlins to Atlanta for a four-game NL East series next Monday night through Thursday.
