The Rome Braves were off Monday and will return to action this evening in Greensboro, NC with the first of six outings against the Grasshoppers. First pitch is scheduled for 6 pm.
Rome concluded a six-game homestand on Sunday with a loss to the Hudson Valley Renegades by 10-5. Hudson Valley took the series 5-1. Highlights for the local team over the past week included a couple of rehab appearances by Atlanta Braves pitcher Collin McHugh, a former Berry College Viking.
