ATLANTA BRAVES PICK UP SECOND STRAIGHT WIN OVER MIAMI MARLINS AT TRUIST PARK

The Atlanta Braves defeated the Miami Marlins 7-4 on Tuesday night in the second outing of a four-game set at Truist Park, which allowed the Braves to take a 2-0 lead in the series among rivals in the National League East.

Offensive highlights included back-to-back home runs by Eddie Rosario and Ozzie Albies in the bottom of the eighth. Rosario’s homer led off that inning.

Albies’ homer in the eighth was his second of the night and his seventh of the season.

Charlie Morton was credited as the winning pitcher for Atlanta after giving up only one run and three hits, walking two, and striking out nine over seven innings. Bryan Hoeing took the loss for Miami.
