The Atlanta Hawks avoided elimination from the 2023 NBA postseason on Tuesday night with a win over the Boston Celtics by 119-117 in Game Five of their first-round Eastern Conference playoff series at Boston, MA.
Trae Young led the charge with 38 points, including a three-pointer that put the Hawks ahead with just seconds remaining in the game.
Boston’s lead in the best-of-seven set is now at 3-2. Game Six is scheduled for Thursday night at 8:30 pm at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta.
