GEORGIA CITIES WEEK UPDATE: HISTORIC EVENING AT FORT NORTON POSTPONED FOR A DATE TBA DUE TO WEATHER CONCERNS

There’s been a change to the City of Rome’s calendar of events for Georgia Cities Week. The Historic Evening at Fort Norton that was originally set for tonight has been postponed because of weather concerns for a date TBA. The Ribbon Cutting at the Rome Community Center is still on for Friday at 4 pm. The community is invited to that event at 406 Riverside Parkway.

Georgia Cities Week is observed by cities statewide and is sponsored by the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA) to showcase and celebrate cities and the many services they provide. Get updates on the local observance via the City of Rome, GA – Government page on Facebook.
