HABITAT FOR HUMANITY – COOSA VALLEY RAISING FUNDS, BREAKING GROUND

Habitat for Humanity – Coosa Valley plans to break ground on its 60th home this Sunday, May 21st in Polk County.

Betsy Allgood, Executive Director, attests that this will mark the fifth home build since she was tapped to lead the local Habitat chapter four years ago.

The organization raised more than $13,000 towards that home build with the Hammer It Home 5K and Health Walk earlier this month at the home of the Rome Braves.

Concerned citizens may donate money online at www.habitatcoosavalley.org. Volunteers are additionally sought to help out with home builds, work at the Habitat ReStore, and more.

Updates from Habitat for Humanity – Coosa Valley may be obtained via the non-profit’s Facebook page.
