The Rome Police Department has announced that the 2023 Peace Officers Memorial Service will be held this Friday, May 19th at 11 am at the Rome-Floyd County Law Enforcement Complex Memorial Plaza in downtown Rome. The purpose is to honor fallen officers of the local law enforcement community. There will be an Honor Roll Call where 20 fallen officers will be remembered.
