The Rome Braves began their first road trip for the month of May with a win in Hickory, NC over the Crawdads by 7-3 on Tuesday night.
Drake Baldwin led the charge with a total of five RBIs to include a couple of two run homers.
The Braves will face the Crawdads again this evening in game two of a six-game set. First pitch is scheduled for 6 pm.
