(Announcement from Atlanta Gas Light):
Atlanta Gas Light personnel will join members of the Gordon County Fire Department and the City of Calhoun Fire Department to conduct an emergency preparedness drill on Friday, June 16, at Georgia Northwestern Technical College’s Gordon County campus in Calhoun. The simulated exercise will involve the response by Atlanta Gas Light crews and first responders to an emergency scenario involving damage to an underground natural gas line.
Atlanta Gas Light participates in these emergency drills on a regular basis to prepare company personnel and first responders when damage occurs to Atlanta Gas Light infrastructure.
