The American Red Cross of Northwest Georgia is in search of volunteers to serve as Disaster Responders and Blood Donor Ambassadors.
Carla Maton, Executive Director, says that Disaster Responders provide aid to those in need during times of crisis such as house fires.
Blood Donor Ambassadors are needed to assist people who donate to local blood drives, adds Maton.
Those interested in volunteering with the American Red Cross of Northwest Georgia are urged by Maton to visit www.redcross.org for more information and to apply.
Monetary contributions and blood donations are also sought by the local Red Cross chapter.
