(Announcement from the Floyd County Master Gardeners):
The Floyd County Extension Master Gardener Volunteers will hold a Community Workshop on “Inviting Pollinators into Your Garden” on August 19th at Chieftains Museum from 10am till 12pm. Join us as we learn about which plants to use to bring beautiful butterflies, bees and birds into your backyard. The workshop is free and open to the public. You can also check out Floyd County Extension Master Gardeners on Facebook for more information about the Great Southeast Pollinator Count on August 18th and 19th and how you can participate in this Citizen Scientist research project conducted by the UGA Extension service.
