The 4th Annual Slotin Fun Folk Art & Paradise Garden Art Auction will be held online this Saturday and Sunday beginning at 10 am both days. Slotin Folk Art Auction house is one of the most prestigious auction houses in the world selling the best of folk art, self-taught art, pottery, and Americana art. Slotin Auction ships to 11 countries world-wide after each auction. Their audience consist of top collectors in the world including celebrities, influencers, and a multitude of art museums and galleries.
The Paradise Garden online art auction benefit is the first 27 auction lots (lots #464-490) starting Sunday morning at 10am EST. Board members and Finster Fest artists donated art for this auction.
The three previous Slotin Fun Folk Art & Paradise Garden Online Auctions benefited the new Paradise Garden Art & Learning Center by fully funding the classroom furnishings. The Art & Learning Center hosts teachers and students touring Paradise Garden for free with seating for 50 in the former Finster residence. Year-round classrooms host painting classes, children’s camps, community events, and artist residencies for visual artists and musicians. This year, all online auction proceeds will match a Georgia Council for the Arts educational grant to pay for classroom art teachers and free art camps and workshops to economically challenged and underserved children and adults.
