(Announcement from Floyd County Public Works):
Floyd County Public Works will close Ellis Road on Tuesday to replace a failed cross drain at residence #114. The road will close Tuesday August 15, 2023 at 8 a.m. and will not reopen until Thursday August 17 at 4 p.m. The detour for this work zone will be Mathis Road and Pleasant Valley Road.
School bus traffic will not be able to cut through using Ellis Road.
