AMERICAN RED CROSS VOLUNTEERS RESPOND TO HAWAII WILDFIRES AND OTHER DISASTERS, HOW YOU CAN HELP

Here are questions that have frequently been asked of representatives of the American Red Cross as of late – what’s happening with relief efforts for those impacted by wildfires in Hawaii, and how can we help?

Carla Maton, Executive Director of the Northwest Georgia chapter, says that boots are currently on the ground in Maui. Red Cross volunteers from around the US are pitching in their assistance towards disaster relief efforts.

The public may assist with these and other disasters (around the country and here at home) by becoming a Red Cross volunteer and/or making a donation to the organization, adds Maton.

Red Cross volunteers are currently bracing for the potential impact of the ’23 hurricane season and will be ready to respond when needed, adds Maton.
