(Announcement from the Friends of the Library):
The current Silent Auction by the Friends of the Library contains a wide variety of books about music and famous musicians–Rock & Roll, Country, the Beatles, etc. One showcase is all Elvis related items. Other showcases feature Southern authors and Southern literature. One of the most collectible items is an autographed copy of To Kill a Mockingbird, signed by Harper Lee. There are also items associated with Gone With the Wind and Margaret Mitchell. Other Southern authors are Pat Conroy, Eudora Welty, William Faulkner, Rick Bragg, Celestine Sibley and others. Several are signed.
Our action will close on Saturday, September 23, at 4pm. No bids will be accepted after this date and time.
