ATLANTA BRAVES BACK HOME THIS WEEK FOR SERIES VERSUS THE ST. LOUIS CARDINALS AND PITTSBURGH PIRATES

The Atlanta Braves had a scheduled off-day on Monday and will be back on their home field at Truist Park tonight to open up a six-game homestand with the first of three outings against the St. Louis Cardinals. The first pitch is set for 7:20 pm. Catch all the action on WLAQ 1410 AM or 96.9 FM; airtime is 6:05 pm from the Atlanta Braves Radio Network.

The Braves wrapped up a 10-game road trip on Sunday afternoon with a loss in Los Angeles to the Dodgers by 3-1 in the last meeting of a four-game set at Dodger Stadium. They still took that series by 3-1 and went 8-2 on their road trip.

The National League East-leading Braves enter this homestand with the best record in MLB at 90-46 for the 2023 regular season. The Cardinals are 59-78 and in last place of the NL Central.

The Braves’ series versus the Cardinals will continue through Thursday night and will be followed by a trio of games versus the Pittsburgh Pirates over the weekend at Truist Park.
