September is Emergency Preparedness Month. Public safety and community partners invite the public to the Emergency Services Expo on Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the East Rome Walmart, 825 Cartersville Highway. The expo will feature public safety equipment and personnel, along with representatives of public works and sanitation. Kids may climb, sit, stand, and pose for photographs with equipment, and some equipment features will be available for participants to actually operate.
