The 74th annual Coosa Valley Fair enters day two today. Gates open to the public at 5 pm. Attendees will pay the regular admission price – $10 for those age six and older. Admission is free to those under the age of six. Armbands will be available for purchase at the cost of $30 each for unlimited rides until the fair closes tonight at 10 pm.
Steve White, 2023 President of the Coosa Valley Fair Association, attests that he enjoys working with fellow members of the Exchange Club of Rome, GA to present the fair every year. His favorite fair memories involve working on the parking committee in his early days as an Exchangite.
Bryan Shealy, CVFA member, says that the sideshows like Space Adventure Thrill Show and Jurassic Kingdom are among his favorite things at the Coosa Valley Fair.
Thursday will be Kids and Seniors Day at the fair with free admission for all students and seniors ages 55 and up from 10 am to 2 pm.
The Coosa Valley Fair opened on Tuesday and continues through Saturday at the fairgrounds located at 1400 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. The 2023 theme is ‘Fun, Fun, and More Fun!’. More information, including a daily schedule of events, is available at www.coosavalleyfair.com and on Facebook.
