Today is the deadline to register to vote in the general election scheduled for November 7th.
Registered voters in the City of Rome will cast ballots for three posts each in Wards One and Three of the Rome City Commission in this election. Voters in both the city and Floyd County will determine the fate of the ’23 SPLOST. Cave Spring voters will also elect two members to their City Council.

Early voting for the November 7th election will begin next Monday, October 16th and continue through November 3rd. Here’s more information about that (and about Election Day) from the Elections Office:

WEEK ONE: Oct 16-20 @ Elections Center
WEEK TWO: Oct 23-27 @ Elections Center + Rome Civic Center
WEEK THREE: Oct 30 – Nov 3 @ Elections Center + Anthony Recreation Center
- Saturday & Sunday Voting held at Elections Center only
- Election Day Voting held at your designated precinct
- NO VOTING will be held at the County Administration building
