Don’t have time to vote early on a week day in the November 7th general election? No worries, the Floyd County Elections Office will offer Saturday voting this Saturday, October 21st and next Saturday, October 28th from 9 am to 5 pm. Early voting will not be offered this Sunday, October 22nd, but will be offered on Sunday, October 29th from 1 pm to 5 pm. Voters may cast their ballots on those weekend dates at the Elections Office, located at 18 East 12th Street in Rome.
Weekday early voting will take place from 8 am to 5 pm on Monday through Friday until November 3rd at the following locations:
WEEK ONE: Oct 16-20 @ Elections Center
WEEK TWO: Oct 23-27 @ Elections Center + Rome Civic Center
WEEK THREE: Oct 30 – Nov 3 @ Elections Center + Anthony Recreation Center
And here’s a friendly reminder – NO voting will take place at the county’s Administration Building in downtown Rome.
Election Day voting will be offered on November 7th at all precincts around the county.
Registered voters in the City of Rome will cast ballots for three posts each in Wards One and Three of the Rome City Commission in this election. Voters in both the city and Floyd County will determine the fate of the ’23 SPLOST. Cave Spring voters will also elect two members to their City Council.
