This Tuesday, November 7th is Election Day. Registered voters in the City of Rome will cast their votes for three posts each in Wards One and Three of the Rome City Commission in this general election. Voters in Rome and Floyd County will determine the fate of the 2023 SPLOST. Cave Spring voters will also elect a couple of members to their City Council.
All of the precincts around Floyd County will be open on Tuesday from 7 am until 7 pm.
The three-week advance in-person voting period concluded this past Friday, November 3rd.

The Board of Elections have planned a Special Called Meeting for Tuesday at 7 amat the Election Center, 18 East 12th Street in Rome. The purpose of the meeting is to oversee the General Election, according to an announcement by Floyd County. It will be called to order, but then immediately recess, subject to being reconvened, if necessary, to address any election day issues that may arise. The meeting is open to the public.
