This is Election Day. All precincts around Floyd County are open from 7 am until 7 pm for the general election.
Registered voters within the City of Rome will cast ballots for three posts each in Wards 1 and 3 of the Rome City Commission. Voters in both Rome and Floyd County will determine the fate of the 2023 SPLOST. Cave Spring voters will elect a couple of members to their City Council.

The Floyd County Board of Elections has planned a Special Called Meeting for Monday, November 13th at the Election Center, 18 East 12th Street in Rome. The purpose of the Special Called Meeting is to certify the November 7, 2023 General Election. This gathering will replace the regularly scheduled November meeting. Caucus is scheduled for 5:30 pm with the meeting set for 6 pm. Both are open to the public.
