Auditions for Rome Little Theatre’s production of “Something Rotten!” will be held December 4 and 5, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. at the DeSoto Theatre.
The show will run from March 15–24, 2024.
“Something Rotten!” is a high-energy musical that combines clever humor, catchy songs, and memorable characters. Set in the Renaissance era, the show follows the story of the Bottom brothers as they strive to create the world’s first musical and outshine their rival, William Shakespeare. Full of laughs, show-stopping musical numbers, and a touch of romance, this production promises to be a crowd-pleaser.

Something Rotten! is presented through a special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).
“Something Rotten!” features roles for men and women to portray characters ranging in age. Actors from underrepresented backgrounds are encouraged to audition.
