The 2023 Rome Christmas Parade will take place this evening at 6:30 pm in downtown Rome, GA. This year’s theme is “CHRISTmas – It’s a Wonderful Life”. Jan Fergerson with Ford, Gittings & Kane Jewelers will be the Grand Marshal for the parade, which will wrap up with Santa Claus’ grand arrival to town.
Janet Byington, co-chair, says that the parade will traverse Broad Street from 1st Avenue to the Rome City Auditorium, where Santa will light up the city’s Christmas tree to usher in the holiday season.
Be sure to bundle up if you plan to head to the ’23 Rome Christmas Parade! Tonight’s low temperatures are anticipated to be in the low 20s, according to the National Weather Service.
