Scott Thompson and his band of merry musicians will spread holiday cheer at the 7th annual Christmas Back Home concerts set for this Friday and Saturday night at 7 pm each night at the Rome City Auditorium.
The show will feature classic Christmas hits with a twist, in addition to some original songs. There will even be a tune that was inspired by the late Jimmy Buffet, who passed away back in September. Thompson attests that he will try to hold back those tears when his band performs the Buffet tribute entitled “Christmastime in Paradise”.
Rome has become home over the past 20 years for Thompson, who enthuses that he looks forward to performing for locals at the City Auditorium.
Thompson also expresses his gratitude to AdventHealth Redmond for serving as the sponsor of this year’s concerts.
