The Rome-Floyd Recycling Center, located at 412 Lavender Drive, will host an Electronics Recycling Event on Saturday, March 9th from 9 am until 1 pm.
This event is intended for Rome and Floyd County residents only. Attendees must have proof of residency like a license or utility bill, states Emma Wells, Director of Solid Waste for Floyd County.
The electronic items typically collected at these events include computers, televisions, recorders, and most peripheral type equipment like printers and keyboards. Associated cables and connection cords for electronics are also accepted.
Appointments must be made in advance and may be scheduled online via the SignUpGenius link at www.floydcountyga.gov or via telephone (beginning March 4th) at (706) 291-5266.
