HABITAT FOR HUMANITY – COOSA VALLEY CELEBRATES FOUR DECADES OF BUILDING HOMES, COMMUNITIES, AND HOPE

Habitat for Humanity – Coosa Valley is ready to party like its 1984. The non profit announced last week that it has planned a full slate of events in the next several months to celebrate its 40th anniversary.

Betsy Allgood, Executive Director, says that Habitat is excited to celebrate four decades of building homes, communities, and hope.

Festivities will begin on March 23rd with a 40th Birthday Bash at the Habitat ReStore. Check out the full calendar of events on Facebook by searching for Habitat for Humanity – Coosa Valley.

The local Habitat has helped hundreds of families build and rehabilitate their homes, attests Allgood, who adds that build number 60 is under construction in Polk County and is now slated for completion mid-Spring.

Habitat continually seeks volunteers and donors, according to Allgood, who says that those who would like to pitch in their assistance should contact her via phone at (706) 378-0030 or email at [email protected].
