In honor of African American History Month, the Floyd County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday evening recognized individuals who continue to serve the greater good for our community. The following were nominated by citizens and selected by the Board to receive this recognition:

- Marquita + Phillip Davis
- Ralph Davis
A brief description of achievements were shared as each honoree was announced. Commissioners presented the honorees with photos of our beautiful historic courthouse captured by Ryan Smith.
