Model High School’s boys basketball team’s season ended Wednesday night with a loss at Westside, Augusta by a final score of 78-40 in the Elite Eight round of the GHSA’s Class AA state tournament. It dashed the Blue Devils’ hopes of a second straight Final Four appearance. Westside, Augusta will go on to the next round of the state tournament over the weekend.
