The Rome-Floyd Chamber’s Annual Meeting was held on Tuesday afternoon at Berry College.
According to the Chamber, highlights included the presentation of awards to the following:
Small Business of the Year – River City Bank
Emerging Small Business of the Year – ABI Lawns LLC
Large Business of the Year – International Paper
Nonprofit of the Year – Open Door Home
Young Professional of the Year- Chris Jackson
Ambassador of the Year – Julie McCluskey
There were so many great candidates from the community for each of these awards that the judges had a difficult time picking the winners, as indicated by Pam Powers-Smith, President and CEO, in a recent interview on WLAQ.
Powers-Smith encourages those who are not yet members of the Rome-Floyd Chamber to join; member privileges include networking opportunities.
