FLOYD COUNTY EXTENSION MASTER GARDENERS INVITE THE PUBLIC TO WORKSHOP ON PRUNING SET FOR MARCH 23RD

(Announcement from the Floyd County Master Gardener Volunteers, Floyd County Extension):

The Floyd County Extension Master Gardener Volunteers will present a free Community Workshop about “Pruning” on Saturday, March 23rd from 10am until 12pm in the parking lot of the Rome-Floyd County Library, located at 205 Riverside Parkway.

Participants will learn the correct way to prune trees and shrubs, according to Keith Mickler, Floyd County Extension Agent.

The workshop will be presented by Mickler and John Hendrickson, Master Gardener.

Mickler adds that a workshop on creating containers will be held to coincide with Georgia Northwestern Technical College’s Spring Plant Sale in April.
