Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites look forward to welcoming families on Spring Break in 2024. Kim Hatcher, Public Affairs Coordinator, enthuses that the park system offers a variety of family- and budget-friendly activities, like hiking, biking, and camping.
Still planning your Spring Break? Check availability and make reservations for all state parks online at www.gastateparks.org.
Those who plan to visit parks/historic sites frequently throughout the Spring and beyond are urged by Hatcher to save money via the purchase of a Combo Pass, which includes both an annual Park Pass and Historic Site Pass.
Combo Passes may be purchased at a cost of $85 each on the Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites website. The cost is $72.50 and $60, respectively, for Military and Senior Combo passes; these discounts are only available in person at parks and historic sites.
Passes may be checked from local libraries, like checking out a book, for free via the Library Loan Program, according to Hatcher.
