Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites invite the public to upcoming Ranger Programs. The theme for 2024 is “Tales of Scales” with a focus on reptiles, says Kim Hatcher, Public Affairs Coordinator. She recommends attendance at Cloudland Canyon State Park for Snakes of Georgia on Sunday, March 17th and Turtles of Georgia on Tuesday, March 19th. Red Top Mountain will host a Reptile Rendezvous this Saturday, March 16th. Hatcher also suggests a trip to Stephen C. Foster State Park in south Georgia to see alligators on ranger-led boat tours.
