ATLANTA HAWKS PICK UP OVERTIME VICTORY OVER BOSTON CELTICS IN THURSDAY NIGHT OUTING AT STATE FARM ARENA

The Atlanta Hawks beat the Boston Celtics 123-122 in overtime on Thursday evening at the State Farm Arena. That marked the Hawks’ second victory of the week over the NBA-leading Celtics and resulted in a 2-2 split of the four-game season series between those teams.

Dejounte Murray led the charge for the Hawks with a career-high 44 points, including the game-winning shot in the last second of OT.

The Hawks have won their last four straight matches to improve to 34-39 on the 2023-24 regular season. They will wrap up their current five-game home stand on Saturday night as hosts to the Milwaukee Bucks; tip off is scheduled for 7:30 pm.
