Seasons change, and the need for volunteers continues with changing seasons for Northwest Georgia Hunger Ministries. The local non-profit organization welcomes individuals in search of volunteer opportunities over Spring Break and throughout the Summer.
Lindsey Kilby, Executive Director, says that kids (with adult supervision) are invited to give back to their community over Spring Break by assisting with Northwest Georgia Hunger Ministries’ Backpack Buddies and other programs intended to provide hunger relief to those in need.
New volunteers will also be needed to fill the gap when local college students head home for the Summer, adds Kilby, who attests that volunteering with the non-profit is a rewarding experience.
