GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TRAFFIC ALERT FOR BARTOW COUNTY: TRAFFIC SHIFTS ON STATE ROUTE 140 THIS WEEK

WHATWeather permitting, crews will shift traffic this week on State Route 140 between Old Highway 140 and Big Ditch Road. The eastbound lanes will be shifted on one day, and the westbound lanes will be shifted the following day. Along with the traffic shift crews will be resurfacing and adding striping on the route. Please slow down and watch for workers in the area. The work is part of the SR 140 widening project which is scheduled to be completed later this year.
