(Announcement from Floyd County Emergency Management):
This is your second reminder about the movie production and how it will impact our local roads. The West Rome bypass will be closed again between Blacks Bluff Road and US 27 South beginning Wednesday April 10 through Sunday April 14. Times for the closures are 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. Please detour using Walker Mountain Road and Blacks Bluff Road.
A final day of filming is scheduled for Wednesday April 17 on Park Avenue in Lindale and Darlington Drive between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m.:
· Park Avenue will be closed at the Old Mill from South First Street to West First Avenue at the railroad tracks.
· Darlington Drive will be closed from the railroad tracks, and across the highway overpass to Old Lindale Road. This closure will halt traffic at Cedar Avenue as well as on ramp and off ramps for the highway.
