April is observed annually as Child Abuse Prevention Month. The Exchange Club Family Resource Center is teaming with other human service agencies this month to inform locals about ways to support children and families, says Tina Bartleson, FRC Executive Director.
The theme for CAP Month in 2024 is ‘Building a Hopeful Future Together’. Bartleson attests that families may accomplish this task, despite challenges in life, with the proper support and education.

Local CAP Month activities have included the placement of pinwheels on the lawn of Harbin Clinic Pediatrics on April 1st and a pickleball tournament over the weekend to benefit the FRC.
