ATLANTA BRAVES OPEN HOMESTAND THIS WEEKEND WITH SET VERSUS TEXAS RANGERS, LISTEN ON WLAQ

The Atlanta Braves had a scheduled off-day on Thursday and will be back at Truist Park tonight to open up a nine-game home stand with the first of three matches against the defending World Series champion Texas Rangers. Chris Sale will be the starting pitcher for Atlanta, while Andrew Heaney will be on the mound for Texas. First pitch is slated for 7:20 pm. Tune in for broadcast coverage from the Atlanta Braves Radio Network locally on the airwaves of WLAQ 1410 AM/96.9 FM; airtime is 6:05 pm.

The Braves’ set with the Rangers will continue through this weekend. It will be followed by three games versus the Miami Marlins to start next week, then three games against the Cleveland Guardians next weekend.
