MAX FRIED LEADS ATLANTA BRAVES TO SECOND STRAIGHT SHUTOUT WIN OVER MIAMI MARLINS

The Atlanta Braves blanked the Miami Marlins 5-0 on Tuesday night in the middle outing of a three-game National League East set at Truist Park. That was Atlanta’s second straight shutout victory over Miami.

The Braves notched two runs in the bottom of the second inning on an RBI double by Michael Harris II and a sac fly by David Fletcher. Travis d’Arnaud drove in another run with a sac fly during the sixth. Adam Duvall also hit a two-run homer in that inning.
