The Rome Emperors were off Monday and will return to action tonight with the opener of a six-game series in Greensboro, NC versus the Grasshoppers. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 pm.
Rome has netted just 12 wins and 22 losses since the beginning of the second half of the 2024 season. Gavin Booker, play-by-play announcer for the team on MiLB.tv, says that he hopes that the first-half champion Emperors will get hot again as the conclusion of the regular season and the playoffs approach.
