GEORGIA TECH WEEKEND ROUND-UP: MEN’S BASKETBALL FALL IN SUNDAY OUTING TO NORTH FLORIDA, FOOTBALL UPSETS MIAMI ON SATURDAY

Georgia Tech lost to North Florida by a final score of 105-93 in men’s college basketball on Sunday afternoon in Atlanta.

Baye Ndongo notched a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Yellow Jackets, who are now 1-1 on the 2024-25 season. He was among five GT players to score into the double digits.

Josh Harris scored a game-high 22 points for the Ospreys, who improved to 3-0.

The Yellow Jackets will play host to Texas Southern on Tuesday night. Tip off is slated for 7:30 pm. Tune into play-by-play coverage from the Georgia Tech Sports Network on WLAQ 1410 AM/96.9 FM; airtime is 7 pm.

Georgia Tech’s football team handed then-No. 4 Miami its first loss of the ’24 season on Saturday by 28-23 in Atlanta.

The Hurricanes have since fallen to No. 12 in the AP Top 25 college football rankings.
