Atlanta Braves pitcher Chris Sale has been honored as the National League’s Cy Young Award winner for 2024, as announced by MLB on Wednesday. He received 26 of 30 first-place votes cast by members of the Baseball Writer’s Association of America. This is the first time that an Atlanta pitcher has won the award since Tom Glavine in 1998.
