The Atlanta Braves beat the Los Angeles Dodgers by 4-3 on Sunday night in the finale of a three-game set at Truist Park. It allowed Atlanta to avoid being swept in the weekend series, as well as the six-game season set between the teams. The Braves also snapped a three-game losing skid, while the Dodgers’ latest winning streak ended at seven straight.
Austin Riley led the charge offensively with a pair of two-run homers in the first and third innings.
Bryce Elder was Atlanta’s winning pitcher. Raisel Iglesias was credited with the save.
The Braves will continue their current seven-game homestand with the first of four games against the Cincinnati Reds tonight at 7:15 pm. Listen to play-by-play coverage from the Atlanta Braves Radio Network locally on WLAQ 1410 AM/96.9 FM; airtime is 6 pm.
