The Atlanta Braves beat the Cincinnati Reds by 2-1 in 10 innings on Tuesday night in the second meeting of a four-game set at Truist Park. It was the third straight win for Atlanta and the fourth loss in a row for Cincinnati.
The Reds scored the first run of the evening on an RBI single from Santiago Espinal in the top of the eighth inning. The Braves tied it at 1-1 in the bottom of the ninth on an RBI double by Michael Harris II. They secured the victory on a walk-off single by Marcell Ozuna in the 10th.
Raisel Iglesias was credited with the win for Atlanta, whose starting pitcher Chris Sale struck out 10 in six and two-third scoreless innings of work. Lyon Richardson was charged with the loss for Cincinnati.
