Just over five months remain until the U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels and other top aviators take to the skies of Rome, Georgia for the 2025 Wings Over North Georgia air show.
This year’s air show is slated for October 17th through 19th at Rome’s Russell Regional Airport. A Friday evening twilight show with fireworks will begin the weekend. The Blues will headline Saturday’s and Sunday’s shows.
John Cowman, President of JLC Airshow Management, proclaims that a full line-up will entertain air show fans this October, from jet pilots to skydivers and more.
Highlights will also include the Class of 1945, which originated at WONG and has made its way to air shows nationwide. It features the “Korean War Hero”, a Corsair flown by Jim Tobul, and “Quick Silver”, a P-51 flown by Scott Yoak.
