FLOYD COUNTY EXTENSION MASTER GARDENER VOLUNTEERS TO PRESENT COMMUNITY WORKSHOP ON “MAKING YOUR OWN FLUTED HYPERTUFA PLANT CONTAINER” ON JUNE 7TH

Announcement from the Floyd County, GA Extension Master Gardener Volunteers:

The Floyd County, GA Extension Master Gardener Volunteers will present a Community Workshop on “Making Your Own Fluted Hypertufa Plant Container” on Saturday, June 7, from 10am to 1pm at Chieftains Museum, located at 501 Riverside Parkway in Rome. This will be an opportunity for attendees to make original planters for their gardens. Pre-registration is necessary, and there is a minimal $10 charge to cover the cost of supplies. Contact the Floyd County Extension Office at 706-295-6210 to register for the workshop. Attendees are encouraged to wear old clothes that they do not mind getting dirty. This is a hands-on activity, and it may get a little messy. Also, please bring rubber gloves and a container to use for molding the mixture.
