In observance of Memorial Day, City of Rome administrative offices will be closed on Monday, May 26, 2025. Provided are service changes and closures:
Rome Solid Waste Schedule
- Monday routes will be collected on Tuesday, May 27
- Tuesday routes will be collected on Wednesday, May 28
- Regular service on Thursday and Friday
- Residents are reminded to place carts curbside by 7:00 a.m. on their adjusted collection day to ensure timely pickup.
Walker Mountain Landfill
The landfill will be closed on Monday, May 26, and will reopen with regular hours on Tuesday, May 27.
Rome Transit Department (RTD)
RTD will also be closed on Monday, with services resuming on Tuesday.
